This vacuum pump VIDOFIL is used for volume reduction of storage bags containing TRU, low-level, hazardous, or asbestos waste. It reduces the volume of stored waste in the bag by facilitating the safe evacuation of trapped air.
Eliminating air from each bag results in container loading (drums or boxes) increasing 2 to 3 times without compromising throughput or safety.

The pumping unit VIDOFIL is compact, easy to carry. It is equipped with a vacuum end of trapped air, including two HEPA filters :
- first one just after the needle.
- the second one at the junction of the flexible hose.

All components of the vacuum end are interchangeable by quick release. All spare parts are disposable.
A self sticking plastic .. part on the bag allows :
- to identify the position of the hole.
- to avoid the tiring of the bag.
- to facilitate the plugging of the hole after retiring the needle by a simple stick.

To remove the trapped air out of the bag, a vacuum pump installed in a transportable small box is connected to a vacuum end equipped with two HEPA filter for a safe double filtration.
